We have previously blogged about the Wit Hotel's delicious restaurant, State and Lake, as a great place for a rehearsal dinner followed by post-dinner drinks at the hotel's chic rooftop bar, Roof. Now, we have some more to add following a wedding rendez-vous with the Wit's talented Director of Catering, Laura Ekker. After the most delicious Mexican chopped salads for lunch (chopped romaine, mango, corn, tortilla chips, and chili-glazed shrimp) from State and Lake, Ekker gave us a tour of the Wit's beautiful ballroom, its elegant library, and then...the jackpot: the side-by-side Spa at the Wit and private theatre, SCREEN. Perfect for day-of prepping, the bridal party can spend the day getting pampered in the spa...massages, nails, hair, and make-up...while the boys hang out in the theatre watching a good movie or some sports, drinking from the full bar, and dining on a full menu of food options.
